DMF Lighting Expands 3-Inch X Series Cylinder Collection

DMF Lighting has expanded its 3-inch aperture X Series Cylinder collection, rounding out the popular small aperture family. The expansion is designed for specifiers to meet every application need across an entire building campus. The X Series Cylinder family expansion includes:

• An Adjustable Module (360-degree rotation and 45-degree tilt) offering up to 1000 lumens
• A Hex Louver accessory for the Fixed and Adjustable Modules that minimizes glare
• Wall Wash trim, mirroring optical performance of the complimentary X Series recessed downlight family wall wash trim
• Flangeless Surface Ring for seamless flangeless mounting
• Expanded lumen output up to 1500 lumen (Fixed Downlight Module Only) for both direct and indirect illumination

The pendant, surface-mount and wall-mount X Series Cylinders feature tool-less, field-changeable optics and trims that provide an unmatched level of flexibility and customization with a choice of over a million configurations. The cylinders are offered in 6-1/2 and 9-inch lengths with lumen outputs ranging from 750 to 1500 lumens. The direct/indirect option allows up to 3000 lumens.

Color temperature choices include 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and Warm Dim (3000K – 1800K) and Tunable White (4000K – 1800K and 6500K – 2700K) with a 93 color rendering index. The tool-less field-interchangeable optics include 20-, 30-, 40-, and 50-degrees distributions.

Trims are meticulously engineered to provide precise performance and are offered in Standard, Snoot, Wall Wash and Decorative (Open, Hyperbolic and Float) choices.

The pendant cylinder’s cord and stem lengths can be adjusted on site for maximum flexibility. The series includes an ADA compliant wall sconce, as well as an uplight option for direct and indirect illumination. Finishes include a choice of White, Black, Bronze, Brushed Aluminum or a custom color (RAL).

DMF Lighting’s cylinder product lines include the made-to-order 3-inch X Series Cylinders and 4-inch M Series Cylinders, and the stocked 3-inch H Series Cylinders.

Featuring a sustainable design, the cylinders are ENERGY STAR^® and Title 24 JA8 compliant, Dark Sky Approved and Declare Listed. The products are Wet Location Listed and NSF/ASNI 2 Splash Zone Safe Listed.

Complimenting the cylinders, the X Series downlights utilize the same modules so light quality, color and output remains consistent for a cohesive look.
