Nikolai Shteinman Takes on New Duties at Barron Lighting Group

Arizona-based Barron Lighting Group has promoted Nikolai Shteinman to the role of Industrial Engineer. Shteinman brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MGTU “STANKIN” in Moscow, Russia, and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University in Tempe.

In his new role, Shteinman will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing and business processes that drive operational excellence. He will be working closely with business partners across the company to identify areas for improvement and ensure that Barron Lighting Group is focused on continual improvement.

“The future of our industry will require optimal cost utilization and operational efficiency,” said Jeff DeWitt, Director of FP&A. “Nikolai’s background and expertise will be helpful as he collaborates with managers and planners to optimize workforce utilization and production scheduling.”

Shteinman has already made a significant impact on Barron Lighting Group, having designed an emergency light for a plant growth chamber. He researched the optimal wavelength of light for the light source that would not disturb the plant growing cycle, and prepared related engineering documentation such as BOM, specifications, and instructions. As the Data Automation Specialist, he developed and implemented several processes for the sales, accounting, and purchasing departments that improved data integrity and increased the efficiency of document workflow.

“We are excited to leverage Nikolai’s experience and skillset to help us strive for operational excellence while continuing to grow and improve our customer and partner experience,” said CEO Alan Tracy.
