AMP® SECURE™ Launches Modern Area Light with NEMA Dusk-to-Dawn Photocell

AMP® SECURE™

The AMP® SECURE™ Modern Area Light features unmatched built-in standard features, while boasting a rugged, compact, and lightweight design (16 pounds) that ensures effortless installation. Available in three mounting configurations (Arm, Slipfitter and Trunnion), the site lighting solution is equipped with an integrated selectable lumens switch, providing a range of lumen options (6,000, 9,000, 12,000 and 13,000), and an integrated color temperature switch (3000K, 4000K and 5000K), allowing for easy and convenient onsite selection to suit various needs. This flexibility also enables installers to seamlessly match existing neighboring lighting fixtures when necessary.

Additional built-in standard features include a NEMA dusk-to-dawn photocell, providing automated lighting control, while the 0-10V dimming capability allows for precise adjustments of light levels as needed, adding convenience and energy efficiency to each installation. Enhancing reliability, the built-in surge protection safeguards the fixture against electrical surges.

The durable, die-cast aluminum fixture is IP66-rated and has a marine-grade polyester powder coat finish for corrosion resistance. The finish is rated per ASTM B117 for a minimum 1000-hour salt spray test, ensuring longevity in harsh outdoor conditions. Housing is equipped with heat-dissipating fins for optimal thermal management, improving LED performance and extending component life. The clear, UV and impact-resistant polycarbonate lens provides uniform light distribution, eliminating pixelation and enhancing visibility.

The universal voltage (120-277V) fixture seamlessly fits into residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems, making it versatile across multiple installations.

The Modern Area Light is DLC Premium Listed (rebate eligible), UL Certified, and DarkSky compliant with a B3-U0-G2 B.U.G. rating, minimizes light pollution and glare.
