California Lighting Sales Announces New Leadership Team

CLS Rep Agency 800

California Lighting Sales is moving forward under the leadership of principals Dave Klevens, Michael David, and David Burandt. Together, they are focused on strengthening the firm’s market presence while continuing to deliver dependable, quality representation across Southern California. This next phase, referred to internally as CLS 4.0, reflects the company’s fourth generation of ownership and leadership.

“CLS was built on customer service, and that foundation continues to guide everything we do. Providing a high level of responsiveness, communication, and follow-through isn’t just a goal for us, it’s who we are,” said Michael David.

“Our priority is to be a reliable, engaged partner for both manufacturers and customers,” added Dave Klevens. “We’re building on a strong foundation and setting clear expectations for performance, accountability, and service.”

“As California Lighting Sales transitions to its fourth generation of ownership, it’s important to reflect on the past while keeping an eye to the future,” noted David Burandt. “We’re grateful to those who came before us and the contributions they made. We remain equally committed to our customers and manufacturers, whose partnership and support are invaluable.”

Established in 1967, California Lighting Sales has a long history of serving the Southern California lighting market. The firm represents 108 manufacturer lines and works closely with architects, designers, contractors, and facility managers across the commercial, hospitality, and residential sectors.
