Acustica Fixtures from Fabbian Offer Acoustic Comfort

Fabbian acoustic solutions

In a simple twist of irony, Acustica Fixtures from Fabbian draw inspiration from a drum cymbal, the antithesis of auditory comfort. The large and thin lampshades are designed to absorb surrounding sounds and create a high level of acoustic comfort.

Offered in pendant or wall/ceiling fixture form in seven standard colors, an array of custom colors, and three large-scale diameters, Acustica is an ideal solution for new construction and retrofitting of public spaces, such as restaurants, luxury offices, and large waiting areas that require refined design and acoustic solutions.

Acustica pendants’ shades can adjust from level to inclined positions for dynamic and creative arrangements around its central fixed light source. Acustica Wall/Ceiling fixtures add geometric design elements while providing acoustic comfort and ambient illumination.

Designed by Gio Minelli & Marco Fossati, Acustica F58 shades are made of two sound-absorbing materials that come in either 23.6″, 35.4″ or 47.25″ diameters. Their outer shell is made from recycled PET. The structure is anodized black aluminum with an opal PMMA (Polymethyl Methacrylate) diffuser. The fixture features a 0-10V dimmable high-efficiency and flicker-free LED source.
