Targetti’s VADER Receives Multiple Design Awards

VADER – an all-in-one adjustable flood light projector that encompasses the flexibility of an entire range of exterior projector fixtures in a single product – has received several distinguished industry design awards:

• Architectural Products Product Innovation Award Winner – Exterior Lighting

• Light Middle East Awards 2024 Finalists – Outdoor Lighting Product of the Year

• The Architect’s Newspaper (AN) 2023 Best of Products Awards Editor’s Pick – Lighting + Electrical: Outdoor category

• LIT Lighting Design Awards 2023 – Honorable Mention

VADER is the result of the collaboration and innovation of Targetti and international lighting design studio, Fisher Marantz Studios (FMS). Targetti’s expertise in the development of cutting-edge lighting solutions and the experience and creativity of FMS’s design team has led to the creation of VADER, a new outdoor floodlight that offers the flexibility of multiple luminaires in a single product.

VADER’s Zoom optical system was developed for manual adjustment of the light beam from Spot (18°) to Medium Wide Flood (40°). Adjustment is continuous, not by predefined steps, and it is possible to mechanically lock the zoom on the chosen distribution. A practical graduated scale allows the choice to be replicated on several luminaires. The Tunable White LED sources that equip VADER also make it possible to identify the most suitable color temperature and, if necessary, adapt it to changing design requirements.

Characterized by a compact design and soft, rounded shapes, VADER offers optimal performance and simplicity of use. The projector has a swiveling range of 355° in the horizontal plane and 110° in the vertical with a practical and fast-aiming lock thanks to the two graduated rings. A wide range of optical and installation accessories amplifies the VADER’s flexibility.

The various installation systems available have been designed to allow easy connection to the base element of the projector.

Initially introduced at Euroluce, VADER will be officially showcased in North America during LEDucation in New York City this March. For full details on VADER, click here
