Sonepar’s North Coast President Cory McCulloch Retires
Seattle-based North Coast Electric, a subsidiary of Sonepar, has announced the retirement of President Cory McCulloch, following a distinguished career spanning four decades with the company and within the electrical distribution industry.
McCulloch began his career at North Coast in 1985 as a truck driver, advancing through roles in counter, inside and outside sales, as well as branch management and sales leadership, before being named president in 2021. He helped guide the company through significant growth, cultural evolution, and operational transformation.
Dana Mouritzen, COO and President East Region at Sonepar USA, commented, “Throughout his tenure, Cory has been recognized for his steady leadership, his ability to cultivate strong teams, and his unwavering focus on the customer and associate experience. His influence extends across the organization and the broader industry, where he is widely respected for his integrity, strategic perspective, and collaborative approach.”
Added Rob Taylor, President Sonepar Americas, “We are honored to recognize Cory McCulloch as he retires from Sonepar after more than 40 remarkable years of service. We wish Cory all the best in his next chapter and extend our sincere gratitude for his extraordinary commitment to North Coast and Sonepar.”
Reflecting on his career, McCulloch said, “I have been privileged to experience 40 incredible years building a tremendous business — guided by two family owners and surrounded by some of the most talented people in the industry. With the right leadership in place, I’m confident North Coast will continue to thrive, grow, and remain true to the culture and dedication that have always defined us. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together.”
