Capitol Lighting operates both retail and commercial showrooms and an e-commerce site under 1800lighting.com. The acquisition of Bellacor, a premium online retailer specializing in lighting and home décor, aligns with Capitol Lighting’s mission to offer the most comprehensive selection of products and an exceptional digital shopping experience.

“We are thrilled to welcome Bellacor’s retail and professional customers into the Capitol Lighting family,” said Ken Lebersfeld, CEO of Capitol Lighting. “This acquisition is a significant milestone that allows us to support and expand Bellacor’s loyal customer base while offering an even broader selection of products and an improved digital experience. We are dedicated to maintaining the high standards that Bellacor’s customers expect and enhancing their overall shopping journey.”

Fourth generation, family-owned Capitol Lighting – which marks its centennial this year – is focused on ensuring a seamless transition for Bellacor customers. The integration of Bellacor will further strengthen Capitol Lighting’s position as a preferred source in the lighting and home furnishings market.
