Beghelli & Performance iN Lighting Names Americas Cluster Leader
Lighting industry veteran Gareth Bruce has been named cluster leader for the Americas.
Lighting manufacturers Beghelli and Performance iN Lighting have announced the appointment of Gareth Bruce as Cluster Leader for the Americas, effective October 26.
In this role, Bruce will oversee Beghelli operations in the U.S. and Mexico, Performance iN Lighting USA, and GEWISS Chile. He will report directly to Alfonso D’Andretta, Managing Director of the GEWISS Lighting Business Unit.
Bruce will lead the development and coordination of recently launched GEWISS LightZone activities in key markets across the Americas, drawing on the expertise and distinct strengths of the organization’s brands. His priorities will include expanding the commercial presence, developing new business opportunities and cross-company synergies, and strengthening relationships with customers and partners. He will also support an integrated operating model focused on efficiency, profitability and sustainable long-term growth.
Bruce brings more than 20 years of international lighting industry experience to the GEWISS LightZone ecosystem, with leadership roles spanning Europe and North America. He spent 23 years at Signify/Philips in a range of commercial positions, building expertise in international markets and distribution networks. Most recently, he served as President, U.S., and Executive Vice President at GVA Lighting, where he held full profit-and-loss responsibility and helped improve profitability through structured performance metrics while maintaining the company’s focus on innovation and agility.
The appointment supports the continued international expansion of the GEWISS lighting business. In March 2026, the company reached a major strategic milestone with the launch of GEWISS LightZone, its new lighting hub, at Light + Building in Frankfurt.

GEWISS LightZone unites the expertise of Beghelli, Performance iN Lighting and TVILIGHT in a single ecosystem. It preserves each brand’s identity and specialization while offering an integrated portfolio of professional lighting, safety and intelligent lighting management solutions. The initiative builds on GEWISS’ acquisition of Performance in Lighting in 2023, TVILIGHT in 2024 and Beghellli in 2025. Strengthening the leadership team in the Americas is the next step in the GEWISS LightZone strategy to leverage complementary brand capabilities, reinforce international market positioning and create new growth opportunities through an increasingly integrated and technologically advanced portfolio.
Following a transition period to ensure operational continuity and build on the results achieved so far, Bruce will succeed Dania Maccaferri, who is retiring.
