New Exhibitors for January Lightovation Includes Commercial & Hospitality Lighting
The January edition of Lightovation – slated to be held Saturday, January 10 through Tuesday, January 13, with Lightovation Design + Build Day on January 13 – will feature new exhibitors, a special display of exterior lighting, and events with top lighting experts.
“Every year, Lightovation sets the pace for lighting innovation, and this January is especially important,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center (DMC). “The launch of our Exteriorscape outdoor lighting showcase, the debut of new lighting resources, and thought leadership from industry experts give attendees a first look at the ideas and products shaping the future of the lighting industry.”
New to Lightovation and with branded showrooms are: Brazilian LED lighting company Abilux (TM 4028); decorative lighting fixture company AIC (TM 4806); and the residential and commercial brand Globalux Lighting (TM 4523).
The Spectrum shared showroom featuring multiple companies in one space (TM 4432), will welcome new exhibitors Alloy LED (TM 4432-12); LED Mirror Co. (TM 4432-3); Phaino Lighting (4432-1); Brillance LED (TM 4432-16); and Goodbulb (4432-5). The Coppersmith (TM 4432-16) will have an expanded/relocated space with Spectrum.
Inside the International Pavilion (TM 4926), Tala (TM 4926-8) joins the collection of global resources along with Berkana crystal (TM 4926-1 +17).
Showrooms that have either relocated or expanded include: Avenue Lighting (TM 3606); Hammerton (TM 4921); Lib & Co. (TM 4402); Millenium Lighting (TM 4323); Toltec (TM 3519); Arabela Lighting (TM 4713); and Quorum Group/Oxygen (TM 3006).
Explore Exteriorscape
A special display on the third floor of the Trade Mart – branded as Exteriorscape – will showcase 10 Lightovation exhibitors’ standout collections of innovation and style in exterior lighting. The featured brands are AIC (TM 4806); Auroralight (TM 4010); Brilliance LED (TM 4432-16); DALS Lighting (TM 3602); ET2 Lighting (TM 3905); Eurofase (TM 4002); GM Lighting (TM 3143); Hinkley (TM 3210); WAC Group (TM 3101); and Z-Lite (TM 4600). Outdoor furniture for the display is provided by Rose Casual (WTC 9060).
On Saturday, January 10, Exteriorscape will host panel discussions designed to inspire and educate attendees. Top landscape design talent will share how trends in landscaping design and client preferences are impacting exterior lighting solutions. Lightovation attendees will be able to find more outdoor lighting in numerous permanent showrooms beyond the Exteriorscape display. C. Webster Marsh, Lighting Controls Designer for Sladen Feinstein Integrated Lighting, will lead a one-hour CEU presentation about outdoor lighting controls, followed by a two-hour hands-on workshop that will enable participants to apply the concepts learned. An indoor controls version of this presentation and workshop will take place in the same timeframe on Monday, January 12.

Join moderator Dawn Hollingsworth of Darkhorse Lightworks for a discussion on the latest landscape design trends shaping exterior lighting solutions, featuring Dan Houchard of Houchard Design Group, C. Webster Marsh of Sladen Feinstein Integrated Lighting, and Tim Ryan of Lighthouse Design Studio.

To celebrate the launch of the new Exteriorscape landscape lighting display on the TM 3 atrium, experience a taste of the many outdoor lighting resources found at Lightovation.

The outdoor lighting tour will conclude at the Exteriorscape display, where all attendees are welcome to enjoy an afternoon snack.
The Exteriorscape exhibit will remain open through June 2026, giving attendees multiple opportunities to experience the showcase during key events, including Dallas Design Days (April 14–15), and summer editions of Design + Build Day (June 23) and Lightovation (June 24–27).

This session explores how lighting impacts color perception across residential, hospitality, retail, and other environments where color accuracy matters. Attendees will learn how to apply IES TM-30, which evaluates color through Preference, Vividness, and Fidelity, to improve lighting quality and support specific design intents. The course covers how to integrate TM-30 data into the design process and specification documents, plus a look ahead at updates to ANSI/IES TM-30-25 and the forthcoming BSR/IES LP-30-2x Lighting Practice document.

This seminar, Better Light – Better Sleep: Keeping It Simple, explains how lighting supports natural circadian rhythms and influences alertness, relaxation, and sleep quality. Through an interactive demonstration, attendees will see how changes in light color, intensity, and timing can promote healthier daily patterns and how new technologies make circadian-friendly lighting easier to achieve at home.

Held on the final day of Lightovation, the event will include keynotes, panels, showroom tours, and networking in partnership with Interior Design and Metropolis magazines. ARTS Awards to be Held January 9
Dallas Market Center and ART, the creative home furnishings network, will hold the 36th ARTS Awards on Friday, January 9 at the Hilton Anatole hotel, hosted by Thom Filicia and Carson Kressley. In addition to the customary categories, the ARTS Awards will also include a special Academy of Achievement honor for the late John Feizy, founder of Feizy; the HEARTS Award presented to Heart on Main Street honoring their dedication to small businesses and local communities; and the Legendary Leadership Award to be presented to the late Bill Winsor for his decades of vision, growth, and dedication in design. Lighting retailers, sales representatives, manufacturers, and product designers will also be honored. The ARTS Awards Preview Party takes place on Thursday at 6 pm in IHDC 2F212. Tickets for the Friday gala at the Hilton Anatole are available on the Dallas Market Center website.
