Lutron Electronics introduces expanded wireless innovations for its myRoom XC cloud-connected guest room system. myRoom XC is the keystone of Lutron’s complete hospitality solution. In addition to offering automated lighting, shading, and temperature control for guest rooms, myRoom XC works alongside Lutron’s Athena control system for amenity spaces and HomeWorks control system in residences to form a unified solution that can be reviewed and managed from a single dashboard.

Now available for the myRoom XC system, wireless keypads and light fixtures eliminate the need for control wiring and free up closet space, resulting in faster installation, lower labor and material costs, and more usable space for guests in the room. Wireless control systems give designers the freedom to test out different zone configurations during programming with no additional cost per zone and allow for rezoning down to the individual fixture even after a property opens, limiting downtime and improving design flexibility. Wireless fixtures also make it easy to program the color temperature and dimming to create preset scenes that empower guests to choose the most comfortable setting for their mood whether they want to sleep, focus, or celebrate.

New Enhancements Include

  • Ketra and Rania Smart Lighting: Support a next-level guest experience with spec-grade tunable white lighting. Ketra’s unmatched full-spectrum light and Rania’s dynamic white light are both designed to mimic natural daylight and foster a connection to the outdoors, with a variety of form factors including downlights, linears, and standard base lamps.
  • Sunnata Keypads: Sunnata keypads introduce an additional aesthetic and 24 finish options. The keypads locally connect third-party fixtures to the system and enable distributed lighting control by combining the functions of a dimmer and keypad, eliminating the need for dimming panels that takeup space and accelerating installation.
  • Athena Wireless Node: The coin-sized, individual fixture control is now available for myRoom XC systems. This powerful, compact device allows architects and designers to wirelessly bring control to fixtures from 3rd party manufacturers.
  • Lumaris Tape Light: Lumaris* offers a tunable white + RGB, flexible tape light option for designers toplace accent lighting in the millwork, headboard, under-bed, or under-cabinet natively within theLutron system.

All Lutron hospitality projects are supported by region-specific Lutron Project Champions, who oversee theproject from start to finish, bringing stakeholders together to drive on-time project completion from mockup to handover. The seamless integration of Lutron’s wireless tunable white lighting, additional keypad styles and finishes, and fixture-level integration set the stage for scalable, integrated guest room control for new and existing properties.
