Sleek and Discreet Task Lighting from Kenall Meets Behavioral Health Guidelines

Kenall Manufacturing, a Legrand company, has introduced a new task light: the MedMaster KUE. Combining Kenall’s expertise in behavioral health lighting with a sleek new contour, KUE’s design aesthetic is as comfortable as it is stylish. Yet style does not come at the cost of functionality; KUE is a multifunction, wall mounted task light that meets the recommended guidelines for behavioral health lighting. Features include a durable, one-piece, die-cast aluminum housing with obscured, tamper-resistant mounting hardware. KUE is personal, featuring on/off activation and light intensity that can be controlled via either capacitive, 3-step touch or external 0-10V dimming.

Although designed with behavioral health in mind, KUE is also ideal for use in healthcare settings where unobtrusive, multifunction task lighting is desired. Available in both standard and custom colors, KUE can easily integrate into your interior design plans. Small but mighty, the luminaire is NSF- and IP65-listed, and ADA compliant. Standard and wide distribution options, paired with 90CRI, enables the luminaire to be nicely tailored to its intended application.

Patricia Rizzo, Sr. Healthcare Product Marketing Manager, states, “Kenall’s new KUE represents a transformation of traditional task lighting as we know it. The luminaire’s flexible delivery of light and touch dimming capability offers the patient personal control of their environment. And in behavioral health settings, its one-piece, tamper resistant housing supports health and wellness without compromising style.”
