NLB Changes Dates & Venue for the 2025 Lighting Transformation Awards

The National Lighting Bureau (NLB) has announced updated plans for the 2nd Lighting Transformation Awards program, now scheduled for 2025.

Submitted projects will be eligible for a new Special Citation for exemplary controls design and implementation, co-sponsored by the Lighting Controls Association. The Awards will be presented at LightFair 2025 in Las Vegas.

The Lighting Transformation Awards, co-sponsored by the National Association of Lighting Maintenance Companies (NALMCO), recognize outstanding achievements in lighting retrofit projects that feature innovative solutions with minimal alteration to the existing building structures. These projects illustrate the power of lighting systems and controls to enhance visual performance, promote health and wellness, reduce environmental impact, improve safety and security, and increase overall occupant satisfaction.

Key Dates and Venue Updates:

•              Submission Deadline: March 15, 2025

•              Entry fee: $100

•              Early Bird Deadline for $50 entry fee: February 15, 2025

•              Awards presentation: LightFair, May 4-8, 2025 (exact date and time TBD)
