Glean Insights on the Residential Lighting Market at the Upcoming ALA Conference

With opportunities in the residential and multifamily channel overlapping with the light commercial and decorative hospitality markets, expanding your commercial lighting knowledge to include trends in new home construction and remodeling will broaden your company’s expertise and could lead to collaborations on future projects with lighting distributors and designers operating in that sector.

The American Lighting Association (ALA) – which is comprised of decorative lighting manufacturers, consumer- and designer-oriented distributors, and independent lighting agencies – is holding its annual Conference next month at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida from September 22-24. In addition to a full roster of educational sessions conveniently divided into three tracks (Business Management, Design Trends & Marketing, and Technology), there are networking events designed to foster peer-to-peer engagement. Past ALA Conference attendees have said that the opportunity to brainstorm solutions to current business challenges has proven to be invaluable year after year.

2024 ALA Conference chair Eric Borden, LS, CPC, founder of Pathfinder Consultants which counts both commercial and residential companies among its clientele, notes, “There isn’t a better place to network with your peers, engage manufacturer partners, and solidify relationships with your sales agents than the ALA Conference. South Florida is beautiful in September, and it’s a perfect time to visit. I encourage industry friends to join us at The Breakers for this fantastic event.”
