Cyclone Lighting Introduces Multiple Updates to Campana Luminaire

Campana from Cyclone Lighting

Design enhancements include lighter weight, simplified maintenance, and higher lumen package.

Cyclone Lighting, part of Acuity Brands, has introduced a range of design enhancements to its Campana CN55P1A luminaire. Campana features a sleek bell-shaped silhouette, with a contemporary appeal that enhances a variety of outdoor spaces. Its refined aesthetic and adaptable performance make it suitable for applications such as residential streets, boulevards, mixed-use developments, or waterfront walkways.

Attentive to the needs of urban planners and installers, Cyclone has now introduced several enhancements to the luminaire’s form, without compromising on performance. A weight decrease eases installation and maintenance. A sleeker, trimmed-down optical facade more seamlessly integrates with the luminaire’s overall form. And, with the introduction of an integrated push button and self-retaining latch, maintenance has been simplified.

In addition to the current 36-LED and 54-LED board options, a new 81-LED board is now available for Campana CN55P1A, boosting performance packages up to 23,000 delivered lumens.

Campana continues to offer over 14 photometric distribution types. For further flexibility, the light engine’s optics can be oriented in 90° increments up to 180°; two distribution types can be combined within a single light engine. City planners can therefore illuminate a roadway and an adjacent sidewalk or bike path with a single luminaire, contributing to project savings.

Additionally, Campana is available in a crosswalk optic option, further enhancing safety by casting light to the left or right. Pedestrians appear brighter than their background; this improves detection, a key factor in reducing pedestrian-related accidents.
