Innerscene Launches Circadian Sky

San Francisco-based Innerscene has launched its latest innovation, Circadian Sky, following the success of its flagship product, the Virtual Sun. Circadian Sky is an artificial skylight and window solution designed to bring the dynamic beauty of natural skies into indoor spaces affordably. With its capability to simulate blue skies and sunsets, this product offers an illusion of depth through the appearance of a double pane window, enhancing any room’s aesthetic with multiple surface reflections while maintaining privacy.

Key Features and Innovations:

• Unparalleled CCT Range and Color Accuracy: Circadian Sky offers a Color Correlated Temperature (CCT) range from 2200K to 4000K, ensuring it can mimic the vibrant blue of the sky. It also maintains a CRI of 92+, providing unmatched color fidelity achieved through factory color calibration to fewer than 1 Macadam ellipse steps.

•  Highest Melanopic Ratio for Optimal Well-Being: With a Melanopic Ratio (MR) of 1.6, Circadian Sky supports high Equivalent Melanopic Lux (EML) levels during the day and low EML at  night, fostering a healthy circadian rhythm.

• Versatile Installation Options: Circadian Sky is designed for flexibility in installation, capable of being integrated into walls and ceilings. It is particularly adaptable for ceiling installations, including into any grid ceiling and Armstrong Techzone 1-foot grid lines, making it a versatile option for various architectural designs.

• Sizes and Control Flexibility: Available in five sizes (1×2, 1×4, 2×4, 2×2, and 1.5×4 feet), Circadian Sky offers solutions for spaces of any dimension. It simplifies control and reduces installation costs through wireless synchronization. The built-in battery-backed clock allows for preprogramming based on natural light cycles or a fixed schedule, adjustable via a web interface.

Moreover, it supports dual-channel 0-10V control, DMX, DALI, and Casambi, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.

– Slim Profile for Easy Integration: With a depth of only 3.3 inches, Circadian Sky fits into most wall and ceiling spaces, offering a sleek and unobtrusive design that enhances the visual appeal of any room.

• Contribution to WELL Building Standards: By incorporating Circadian Sky into projects, architects and designers can achieve over 11 points under the WELL Building Standard Version 2, showcasing its significant contribution to creating environments that promote occupant health and well-being.
