Sterling Lighting Appoints Tom Fenig as Head of Sales Process Innovation and Channel Expansion

Sterling Lighting, a leader in the outdoor lighting industry, is excited
to announce the appointment of Tom Fenig as the new Head of Sales Development. Tom is set to
spearhead the enhancement of sales processes and the expansion of sales channels, leveraging his
vast experience and innovative strategies to drive growth and profitability.
Tom Fenig’s illustrious career in outdoor lighting began with his founding of the first and largest
outdoor lighting franchise system in the United States, which he grew to 79 locations before its
successful sale in 2008. He later established Imagine Outdoor Lighting with his family, quickly
turning it into a regional benchmark for quality and innovative sales approaches.
“We are absolutely delighted to have Tom join our team,” said Patrick Harders, CEO of Sterling
Lighting. “His exceptional track record and forward-thinking approach to business are precisely what
Sterling needs at this juncture. Tom’s ability to invigorate our sales strategies will play a crucial role in
our expansion efforts.”
Tom is known not just for his strategic acumen but also for his engaging personality, often infusing
the ‘Fenig humor’ into his professional interactions to make every business deal as enjoyable as it is
successful. “The one thing I can promise when I work with people is that no one ever falls asleep,”
says Tom, reflecting his dynamic approach to business and life.
This new role at Sterling Lighting marks another significant chapter in Tom’s professional journey,
reuniting him with long-time collaborator Patrick Harders. Together, they aim to extend Sterling
Lighting’s market reach and enhance the company’s reputation as an innovator in the outdoor lighting
industry.
