Register Now to Attend NYControlled in October

NY Controlled 800

New York’s only trade show dedicated exclusively to lighting controls has opened attendee registration for its 2025 edition. NYControlled takes place Wednesday, October 15 at the Metropolitan Pavilion and is presented by the IESNYC and DLFNY.

Now in its third year, NYControlled has become a popular event for those ready to learn, connect, and explore the future of lighting controls. Registration is now open for lighting professionals to be part of this year’s expanded program.

A Full Day of Education and Innovation

NYControlled 2025 will feature five exclusive presentations led by experts from top manufacturers and industry organizations. Designed to deliver practical solutions and fresh perspectives on the evolving role of lighting controls, these sessions are an integral part of the show’s educational program. Complete program details and speaker information are available at NYControlled.com, with presentation sign-ups handled through the attendee registration process.

As part of this year’s expanded offering, NYControlled 2025 will feature NYControlled Hands-On: An Interactive Lighting Controls Workshop (October 14), developed with the Lighting Controls Academy and led by C. Webster Marsh. This six-hour immersive training session gives participants the opportunity to work directly with real-world systems from leading manufacturers. The workshop quickly reached capacity and is now wait-listed, highlighting the strong demand for practical, hands-on learning opportunities.

“NYControlled is evolving in response to the community’s needs,” said Nehal Youssef, NYControlled Chair. “Attendees asked for more time to connect and new opportunities to learn, and we’re delivering with expanded programming. From the new Hands-On Workshop to the main exhibition day, NYControlled is reinforcing its commitment to education — not just showcasing products, but equipping the community with the knowledge, tools and confidence to use them.”
