Leviton & ConTech Lighting’s Mike Lehman Recognized as a 2024 Green Globes Fellow by the Green Building Initiative

New York-based Leviton has announced that Michael Lehman, general manager of ConTech Lighting at Leviton, has been recognized by the Green Building Initiative (GBI) as a member of the 2024 Class of Green Globes® Fellows. This distinction recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing sustainable building practices through Green Globes certification programs. The award underscores Leviton’s commitment to empower customers to create more sustainable spaces.  

“Michael’s deep knowledge of green building principles and commitment to environmentally responsible lighting solutions are an invaluable asset to Leviton as we work towards company-wide carbon neutrality by 2030,” said Bob Becker, COO of Leviton’s Electrical business. “His leadership will be instrumental in helping our customers achieve Green Globes certification for their projects and supporting their sustainability goals.”

Lehman draws on over 20 years of lighting industry and design experience in his role as the General Manager of ConTech Lighting. His credentials include Lighting Certified (LC), LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Interior Design and Construction (LEED AP ID+C), Green Globes Professional (GGP), and Certified Lighting Control Professional (CLCP). He is an active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), where he is the Chair of Light and Design committee. He is also a sub-committee Chair of the NCQLP Exam Writing Committee and a member of the WELL Light Concept Advisory. Michael is passionate about creating lighting experiences that benefit people, spaces, and the planet.
