Effective April 1, SLS Controls became the authorized representative for Legrand’s residential lighting controls and shading brands, Vantage and Legrand Shading Systems, in the New York Metro territory. SLS Controls’ years of experience and technical expertise in the residential lighting control and shading sector will position them for success.

“We are confident that SLS Controls will continue to grow and expand our business in the residential building space,” said Andrea Lamieri, Managing Director of Legrand Business Controls Systems division. “The Legrand team is excited to partner with SLS Controls to bring our complete residential control solution to the marketplace.”

“Our evolving partnership with Legrand allows us to mutually enhance customer experience across another growing business unit,” said Patrick Kisling, Principal of SLS Controls. “Legrand’s competencies in technology, product quality, and execution — complemented by SLS Controls’ service-centric, outcome-oriented approach — strengthen the dynamic through which our integration partners deliver an exceptional product in the residential building space.”

Vantage is a leader in luxury lighting control systems. The company’s sleek keypads and wall controls pair with Vantage’s LHUMAN Human Centric Lighting (HCL) solution to provide precise lighting control using color-tunable lighting fixtures and motorized window shading. The result enhances the aesthetics of any home while delivering natural light to improve the occupant experience. LHUMAN enables the widest selection of tunable fixtures to be used in a lighting system, and LHUMAN KolorTune™ provides the tunable, controllable profiles needed to create lighting scenes with precise color temperature, from fixture to fixture, for the task at hand — from productivity to relaxation or to replicate natural lighting indoors. The company partners with leading light fixture manufacturers as part of its lighting fixture alliance. Introduced in 2021, the alliance provides AV installers, interior designers, architects, and other home design professionals with color-tunable fixtures to fit any project need and seamlessly integrate with Vantage’s LHUMAN HCL.

Legrand Shading Systems offers an industry-leading manual and automated shading product lineup. Its automated roller shades are the only option on the market with a patented manual override control in the event of a power outage or misplaced controller. Its battery-powered shades come with alkaline batteries that are hidden inside and are ready to program with a simple tug. Legrand’s battery and wired motorized products are available in the narrowest sizes on the market — as small as 15.5 inches wide — and can be made in sizes up to 13 feet wide by 15 feet tall in select fabric options. The diverse fabric lineup offers over 100 collections and more than 750 fabrics and is available in several colors from top manufacturers.
