Illuminations, Inc., a full-service agency and regional leader in lighting, controls, shading, and acoustic solutions for the construction industry, is pleased to announce the return of Billy Hodges as the new Vice President of Marketing and Specifications. Hodges will oversee specification sales teams in the New York City and Philadelphia metro areas, along with company-wide marketing efforts.

“We are thrilled to welcome Billy back to our company,” said George Lyngarkos, CEO of Illuminations. “His extensive background in lighting and his entrepreneurial spirit will greatly contribute to our organization’s continued success. We are confident that Billy’s strategic insights and industry expertise will fuel our growth and enhance our market position throughout our regional territory.”

For the past 11 years, Billy Hodges successfully led Digital Filaments as its Founder and President, establishing the company as a respected player in the industry. During that time, he also founded the American Association for Independent Lighting Agents (AAILA). Prior to that, he was a lighting designer, a member of the Illuminations, Inc. team from 2007-2012, and held various roles at prominent lighting manufactures.

As part of their continued growth, Illuminations is also pleased to announce that Johnny Hasson has been promoted to Senior Director of Specification Sales – Interiors. In this new role, Johnny will be responsible for growing a new team built around products and solutions for the architectural and interior design communities across the entire Illuminations footprint.

“As we look to the future, we see tremendous potential in having a dedicated focus on the Interiors market, through our shading solutions, decorative offerings, and also through sustainability products and initiatives like Declare label listings that are becoming more important to the design community,” Lyngarkos stated. “Johnny has a tremendous amount of experience in the lighting industry and is a forward thinker who will allow us to take a leadership position in this extremely important space.”

In addition to these new positions, Illuminations will have several new announcements in the coming weeks related to additional new hires, new lines, and expanded services. “We have had tremendous success in establishing Illuminations as a market leader built on long-term strategic focus and our results in 2023 have shown the impact of our planning,” stated Lyngarkos. “We are extremely proud of our 140 employees and are even more excited about what is coming in 2024 and beyond.”
