Dive Into Lighting Controls With New Video Series

The LCA’s continuously expanding video series offers a free education on the growing popularity of lighting controls.

The Lighting Controls Academy (LCA) has announced additional educational programming with the release of a video series that provides education and training on a wide range of related topics.

Among the videos available is LCA’s recently updated Education Express course, EE101: Introduction to Lighting Controls, which is available at NEMA Academy.

The LCA video series provides education and training on a wide range of topics related to lighting controls. Each video is approximately 30 to 60 minutes long and can be viewed on YouTube. Since new courses are added and updated frequently, industry professionals are encouraged to check for new content regularly.

The Lighting Controls Academy (previously known as the Lighting Controls Association) is a coalition of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA).

LCA’s new Education Express courses – which are part of the NEMA Academy –  are foundational as prerequisites for CALCTP certification via CALTCP and NLCAA and NALMCO’s CLCP certification, qualify for AIA/CEU credits, and are recognized by the DesignLights Consortium as furthering education in lighting controls. In addition, the Lighting Controls Academy is recognized as a continuing education provider in the State of California.
