Cloudform Beams Delivers Tailored Light, Acoustic Control

LightArt Cloudform Beams

Building on its Cloudform Collection, LightArt introduces Cloudform Beams, a new linear lighting system that addresses the growing demand for architectural, system-driven ceiling solutions. Cloudform Beams is designed to deliver tailored illumination and acoustic control in a cohesive format, expanding the flexibility of integrated ceiling and lighting strategies.

“The name Cloudform reflects the collection’s soft, cloud-like acoustic material shaped into intentional architectural forms,” says Adam Reeder, president at LightArt. “With Cloudform Beams, the balance between atmosphere and structure is expressed through refined linear geometries that bring visual lightness and sound absorption into defined, modern compositions.”

Intersection of Lighting and Acoustics

Developed with integration at its core, the collection prioritizes ease of specification and installation, modular planning flexibility for continuous runs or grouped installations, and visual consistency across configurations. To reduce reverberation and support integrated lighting, the team designed the collection with effective sound absorption while adding strong visual definition to interior ceilings.

Cloudform Beams is available in both illuminated and unlit configurations, allowing designers to create flexible but cohesive ceiling landscapes that integrate lighting and acoustics within a singular architectural element. Illuminated and non-illuminated beams can be specified independently or combined within the same installation, offering layered performance and design versatility. The adaptable system supports cleaner ceiling planes and a more streamlined specification process by reducing the need to layer separate fixtures and acoustic treatments.

Sleek Profile, Superior Performance

Prioritizing durability and ease of installation, Cloudform Beams’ design prioritizes durability and ease of installation while supporting material transparency goals and streamlined project coordination. Aesthetically, the collection present a refined, architectural silhouette. Functionally, the system complements coordinated lighting and acoustic design while reducing ceiling clutter and simplifying project execution.

Cloudform Beams is particularly well-suited for workplace and civic environments, multi-residential amenity spaces, education facilities, hospitality settings, and large open-plan interiors where reverberation control is critical.
