LEDVANCE Earns Gold Medal by EcoVadis

LEDvance 800

LEDVANCE has been awarded the Gold Medal by EcoVadis for outstanding sustainability performance. This achievement places the company among the top 5 percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide and highlights LEDVANCE’s continuous commitment and progress in sustainability.

EcoVadis is an internationally recognized platform for evaluating sustainability performance. Companies are assessed in the categories of Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. LEDVANCE increased its overall score by 10 points compared to the previous year, reaching 78 out of 100.

In 2024, LEDVANCE earned the Silver Medal with a score of 68 points, despite EcoVadis’s increasingly stringent criteria that made it harder for companies to retain their previous medal status. In 2025, LEDVANCE not only maintained its Silver rating, but also improved its score by achieving Gold status.

LEDVANCE further enhanced its sustainability performance in all evaluated areas. The company achieved an outstanding result in the Ethics category, scoring 85 out of 100 points. The company also achieved excellent ratings in the categories of Environment (79 points), Labor and Human Rights (76 points), and Sustainable Procurement (73 points). This rating reflects the consistent implementation and ongoing development of LEDVANCE’s sustainability management system — a significant achievement, especially in light of EcoVadis’ more stringent criteria.

“The EcoVadis Gold Medal confirms our dedication to considering sustainability holistically and along the entire value chain. We are particularly proud that we were able to improve our results so significantly despite increased requirements,” explains Laura Fernández Gutiérrez, Product Sustainability Manager at LEDVANCE. “This award is both an incentive and an obligation to continue on our chosen path.”

LEDVANCE has participated in the EcoVadis rating since 2018 to transparently measure and strategically develop its sustainability performance.
