Early Bird Registration for IES Street and Area Lighting Conference Ends June 30

Since upgrading street and area lighting remains a key area of concern for municipalities throughout the U.S. and Canada, the upcoming IES Street and Area Lighting Conference (SALC) will appeal to professionals focused on outdoor lighting. The conference program includes outdoor lighting training classes, seminars, networking sessions, and an exhibit hall.

During SALC, decision-makers and their supporting teams from public and private sector utility companies, municipalities, and departments of transportation gather together to explore the latest developments, research, and trends in the street and area lighting industry and learn about the implementation of new technologies and solutions that will enable safer, greener, and more resilient lighting systems. The conference will be held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, September 21-24, 2025, and full registration includes food & drink throughout the event.

Among the Conference program highlights are:

•New technology introductions

•Technical presentations, panel discussions

•Summaries of cutting-edge research and case studies of other projects that would be relevant to our system and customers

•The latest industry standards and trends, helping give a new perspective and better-informed skills to implement into current projects.

•Plus the largest and most focused showcase of suppliers for all aspects of this industry

The IES Roadway Lighting Committee — the group behind ANSI/IES RP-8 — will be meeting Sept. 24–26 at the Hilton. No registration required, and that meeting is open to all.

Register before June 30th and receive a 15% discount.
