Torno Luminaire Delivers Low‑Glare Output with Flexible Mounting Options

Eureka's Torno luminaire comes in a variety of decorative options.

Eureka’s new Torno luminaire gives contractors performance, consistency, and a clean installation, all wrapped up in a decorative package. The fixture combines handcrafted ceramic or wood shades with a compact light engine that delivers up to 750 lumens of low‑glare illumination, making it suitable for hospitality, amenity areas, and contemporary workplace environments.

Each shade measures 14 inches in diameter and 2.6 inches high, with finish options that highlight natural material expression: ceramics in Ivory White, Coal Black, and Terracotta Brown ceramics, and locally sourced maple and oak. Because each shade is partially handcrafted, subtle variations occur from piece to piece, adding a unique characteristic to each piece.

Torno’s mounting flexibility lets contractors choose surface, stem, or suspended configurations. The suspended version supports stacking two or three shades of the same finish, creating a layered visual without adding installation complexity. Surface‑mount models can be installed on ceilings or walls, and the light engine produces a reflected uplight halo that adds a soft accent without requiring additional components.

Eureka, which is part of the Acuity Brands portfolio, positions Torno as a sculptural decorative piece, but the fixture’s consistent geometry and modular design help keep labor predictable. The adjustable cable system on suspended models uses three steel cables for easier leveling, and the surface‑mount option provides a straightforward ceiling or wall installation path. These details reduce coordination challenges that often accompany decorative luminaires.
