Peerless Expands Prim Product Line with New Recessed Version

Peerless Prim Recessed

Peerless®, part of Acuity Brands, has announced the latest addition to its Prim product line, the Prim Recessed. Designed to deliver seamless, minimalist aesthetics with exceptional visual comfort, Prim Recessed offers architects and designers a new level of flexibility in creating visually appealing and well-lit spaces.

With true recessed apertures available in 2” and 4” sizes, Prim Recessed offers a new depth of view from traditional linear fixtures, creating a sleek, linear downlight appeal. Its 50-degree cutoff design minimizes glare and top-down flash, providing soft, even illumination that enhances occupant comfort while maintaining a clean, quiet ceiling aesthetic.

“Prim Recessed builds upon the success of our Prim pendant series, delivering the same outstanding performance with a recessed application,” said Jamal Smith, Business Unit Leader, Peerless Lighting. “This new version allows designers to maintain design continuity throughout a space while achieving the desired lighting effect.”
