Lucent Lighting Launches Mix85 Luminaire Made from 86% Recycled Materials

Lucent Lighting has announced the launch of Mix85, a new luminaire range that exemplifies the brand’s unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. Designed with circular economy principles at its core, Mix85 offers exceptional lighting performance while minimizing environmental impact.

With sustainability as a driving force, Mix85 is made from 86% recycled materials, and an impressive 90% of its components are recyclable, reinforcing Lucent Lighting’s pledge toward carbon neutrality. Designed to prioritize longevity and ease of maintenance, Mix85 significantly reduces premature replacements, contributing to a more responsible approach to lighting design.

Mix85 features a compact and versatile design – being only 85mm in size, it allows for precision adjustability with 30° tilt and 359° rotation to provide ultimate flexibility.

Designed to complement a variety of architectural spaces, it offers an aesthetic selection of trims and bezels, including Duo, Edge, Pinhole, and Flare.

Delivering up to 1775lm of powerful illumination, Mix85 ensures consistent lighting performance while maintaining energy efficiency, meeting and exceeding Part L2 compliance with up to 133 lumens per watt delivered.

Designed for adaptability, the Mix85 is fully compatible with all Lucent 50mm modules, including Quantum, Ambience WarmDim, Dynamic White, SuperSpot, Ultra, LED50 One Gen3, and Shallow Height, making it a versatile choice for various lighting applications.

Mix85 also supports a wide range of installation kits for all ceiling conditions, including plaster trimless, tape and join trimless, wood and stone and plasterboard.

Additionally, Mix is available in a variety of premium finishes, including white, black, custom RAL and five plated options – polished chrome, polished brass, polished nickel, antique bronze, and antique brass.

For added convenience, Mix85 features toolless installation and focusing. The quick-release screw-in LED engine enables ease of maintenance and commissioning, providing a highly practical solution for both designers and installers. The luminaire also includes plug-and-play LED engines and drivers with male and female connectors, simplifying installation.

Mix85 offers a high-performance lighting solution that meets the demands of architects, designers, and specifiers worldwide. With the ability to accommodate up to two accessory lenses or honeycomb louvers, Mix85 provides additional customization to suit various lighting requirements.
