Sonepar has acquired EOSYS, an industrial automation solutions provider, expanding its ability to serve the increasing needs of a broad range of industrial customers. EOSYS’ engineering-led perspective will reportedly help Sonepar build the operational, technical, and delivery disciplines required to support more complex solutions at scale.

In a statement released by Sonepar, the company noted, “As the complexity of industrial systems increases, customers across the market need partners with cross-disciplinary expertise and services. EOSYS adds proven expertise in automation, engineering, and digital transformation, expanding Sonepar’s capabilities, creating new opportunities for growth, and enhancing the value delivered to customers and partners. EOSYS is one part of a broader ecosystem of systems integrator partners that remains critical to our strategy and our ability to connect customers with the right capabilities for each opportunity.”

Rob Taylor, President of Sonepar Americas added, “Sonepar continuously makes investments to support customers as their needs evolve. EOSYS will enable us to deliver a better customer experience by adding specialized capabilities that complement our current industrial services offerings like panel design and assembly, power substation engineering and distribution and switchgear panel assembly. We’re pleased to welcome EOSYS to the Sonepar network.”

Founded in 1991, EOSYS is headquartered in Smyrna, TN, and has offices across the United States.

David Lax, President of EOSYS, stated, “For more than three decades, EOSYS has focused on earning our customers’ trust and building partnerships that last. Sonepar shares those values. I’m excited about the opportunities this creates for our employees, our customers, and the future.”
