Ligman Lighting USA Names Daniel Christiano to Leadership Role

Oregon-based Ligman Lighting USA has appointed Daniel Christiano as Director/Sales, North America. In this role, he will lead Ligman’s sales strategy across the U.S. and Canada, working closely with the company’s agency partners and internal teams to continue enhancing Ligman’s customer experience and delivering outdoor lighting solutions to the specification community that brings their vision to reality.

Christiano brings more than 12 years of experience in the lighting industry, spanning distribution and specification sales at both the manufacturer and agency level, national and corporate accounts, and regional and national sales leadership. Most recently, he served in a sales role at BEGA North America. His background also includes leadership positions with Experience Brands USA, where he partnered closely with independent rep agencies to drive growth across five distinct brands while expanding market presence and performance nationwide. Additional experience includes roles with Hubbell Lighting and SESCO Lighting.

“Daniel’s industry experience, understanding of the specification market, and agency relationships make him a tremendous addition to the Ligman leadership team,” said Austin Ashe, President of Ligman Lighting USA. “As we continue to find new ways of bringing value to our customers and partners, Daniel’s leadership will be instrumental in aligning our sales strategy, strengthening our partner network, and positioning Ligman Lighting USA for long-term success across North America.”

Throughout his career, Christiano has delivered revenue growth, built and optimized high-performing agency networks, lead product launches, and expanded market share, all through the lens of delivering value to the design community. His experience with specification-grade, outdoor architectural brands and customized lighting solutions reportedly aligns closely with Ligman’s core strengths and future growth strategy.

“I’m excited to join Ligman and be part of a company built on strong agency partnerships and trusted relationships within the specification community,” said Daniel Christiano. “Ligman’s customer-focused DNA aligns closely with my values, and I look forward to helping support my new team members, agency partners, and build the next chapter of Ligman’s success.”
