Casambi Reassures Strong Commitment to North & Central America With CEO Transition

Casambi, the global leader in wireless lighting control solutions, has announced that Global CEO Mark McClear will depart the company at the end of the year. Casambi expresses its gratitude for McClear’s impactful leadership and his mentorship of Kristian Jenkins, who has been appointed Co-CEO of Casambi. Jenkins, a longtime Casambi leader, most recently spearheaded the company’s successful expansion into India as Country Manager.

“I am extremely proud to step into this new chapter as Co-CEO of Casambi. My journey since joining in 2019 has been extraordinary, shaped by the opportunity to work alongside industry-leading partners and colleagues. The mentorship of Mark McClear and others has been instrumental in developing my ability to navigate complex and dynamic business environments, cultures, and languages. I look forward to building the trajectory for Casambi as the LightingOS of the World,” Jenkins said.

As this global leadership transition takes place, Casambi underscores that its strategy, organizational structure, and leadership for North and Central America remain unchanged. The regional team continues to operate under its established framework, ensuring ongoing support, service, and market engagement.

“Casambi is firmly committed to the North American market, with a focus on emerging opportunities in Central and South America,” said Peter Augusta, Casambi’s General Manager for the Americas. “Our investment, focus, and long-term strategy for this region are stronger than ever.”

Over the past three years, Casambi has achieved significant and sustained growth across North and Central America, including:

• Expanding its partner ecosystem and project pipeline

• Adding strategic roles across sales, technical support, training, and marketing

• Strengthening customer-service capabilities

• Investing in resources to support specification, commissioning, and integration partners

• Launching Casambi Project Services (CPS) to enhance and support project development

“Between the path that Mark McClear and the North American team have blazed, combined with Kristian’s extensive experience across every level of the business, I’m excited for the unique insight and support he will bring as we continue expanding Casambi throughout the Americas,” Augusta said.
