eLumigen Recognized for Class 1 Div 2 Fixture

eLumigenThe 2021 Sapphire Awards, one of the lighting industry’s top honors, announced that eLumigen was a Sapphire Award Finalist in the “Industrial SSL Luminaire Design” category, for their High CRI Class 1, Division 2 (C1D2) LED Fixture.  The company is known for its unique line of LED rough service lamps and fixtures, designed for harsh commercial and industrial environments. 

eLumigen’s linear C1D2 luminaire has a CRI of 95, which is ideal for paint booth, hazardous location and industrial inspection applications.  The product is already being used by major automotive manufacturer paint operations. The product is certified for use throughout North America, including the US & Canada safety listing, as well as Mexican NOM qualification.

It is the first LED luminaire combining C1D2, 95 CRI, IK10 impact rating, easy daisy-chain connections, and DLC Premium Listing.  The product can be used as a complete fixture or as a retrofit kit to convert a fluorescent tube fixture to LED.  Additional information on the High CRI C1D2 LED fixture can be found here.

eLumigen has had to enlarge its trophy case.  The same product was recognized with inclusion in the 2020 IES Progress Report.  The company’s line of rough service LED A-lamps, and PAR lamps received 4 awards in 2020: 

  • Sapphire Award,
  • Golden Hammer Award,
  • Vision Award, and
  • EC&M Product of the Year Award

Each year, LEDs Magazine recognizes advances in performance and engineering of SSL components and systems in commercial distribution. The Sapphire Awards program has honored innovators and product developments that advance LED-centric SSL components, systems, and applications into the mainstream, and have promoted performance and capabilities beyond traditional light sources. 2021 Award winners were recognized August 24thduring the virtual Strategies in Light conference.
