MaxLite Hires Joe Angelis as VP of C&I Sales
DeAngelis brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in the lighting, smart building, controls, and energy-efficient technology industries.
New Jersey-based MaxLite has appointed Joe DeAngelis as Vice President of C&I Sales – North Region, reinforcing the company’s continued investment in strategic sales growth and customer support across key commercial and industrial markets.
In this role, DeAngelis will lead MaxLite’s North Region C&I sales organization, which includes the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and North Central territories. Based in the Chicago area, he will be responsible for driving regional growth, strengthening channel partnerships, and expanding customer engagement initiatives throughout the territory.
DeAngelis brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience spanning lighting, smart buildings, IoT, controls, HVAC, semiconductors, and energy-efficient technologies. Throughout his career, he has built and led high-performing sales organizations while delivering revenue growth and operational success.
Most recently, he led a rapidly growing lighting controls retrofit business, successfully scaling operations through strategic channel development, product innovation, and customer-focused solutions. He has also held leadership roles with Lunera, SPX Corporation, Samsung Semiconductor, and Motorola Semiconductor.

DeAngelis holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
