SupplyHouse Announces Scholarship Winners, Program Supports Aspiring Electricians

Now in its second year, the Track to the Trades Scholarship program – a partnership between SupplyHouse and Bold.org – has announced the 10 recipients for 2025. The program continues to expand in both reach and impact, with a 70% increase in applications nationwide as interest in skilled trade careers accelerates.

This year’s applicants represented a diverse range of backgrounds, stories, and career aspirations. Many expressed a shared passion for building a stable future while contributing to the evolution of the skilled trades workforce. One recipient, Aungelique Simmons of Marietta, Ga., captured that spirit in her application essay, writing:

“I want to be part of the new wave of skilled workers who break barriers and show that the trades are for everyone. Because when more people like me step into these spaces, we bring new ideas, perspectives, and possibilities.”

Chace Johnson — Cotton, Minnesota

Mark Crosbourne — Brooklyn, New York

Naethan Urtecho — Silver Springs, Maryland

Corey Fields — Broadview, Illinois

Aungelique Simmons — Marietta, Georgia

Stephanie Reynolds-White — Denver, Colorado

Amanda Lang — Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Sebastian Guzman — Staten Island, New York

Each individual was selected for their dedication, drive, and commitment to pursuing careers that make a meaningful difference in their communities.

Each scholarship recipient will receive funding to help cover a wide range of training-related expenses through their accredited schools, including:
