Entry Deadline Extended for the DMF Design Awards 2025

California-based manufacturer DMF Lighting has extended its call for entries for the DMF Design Awards 2025, which recognize outstanding projects that creatively incorporate DMF lighting products. Eligible projects must have been completed after January 1, 2022. The deadline to submit entries has been extended to February 10, 2025.

The competition is open to all designers, architects, electrical engineers, and lighting professionals who are at least 18 years old and specify DMF’s lighting products in interior and exterior design projects.

“We are excited to bring back this annual competition and honor the industry’s talented designers for innovative and creative lighting designs,” said Ken Czech, vp/new product development.

Winners will receive the following:

•              First Place: Cash prize of $20,000 and featured on DMF’s website, social media, and in email newsletters, plus an invitation for two including flight and hotel to LEDucation 2025 in New York City with the project featured in DMF’s booth

•              Second Place: Cash prize of $5,000 and featured on DMF’s website, social media, and in email newsletters

•              Third Place: Cash prize of $2,500 and featured on DMF’s website, social media, and in email newsletters

To enter, you can fill out the submission form here. Each entry requires three or more professional photos of the lighting installation with DMF Lighting’s products; a written project summary/design approach; product list or fixture schedule; an installation story of why DMF products were chosen (written statement or video), and a completed release form.

Judging will take place in January 2025 by a qualified panel of judges. Projects will be judged on how well DMF Lighting’s products were integrated into the overall design and the visual impact and design quality of the project. In addition, judges will consider how the project uses lighting creatively and innovatively, as well as the photo composition and relevance.
