Making its second U.S.-made architectural/commercial lighting acquisition in one year, Kuzco Lighting has just announced the acquisition of Insight Lighting, a manufacturer of high-performance commercial indoor and outdoor architectural lighting based in New Mexico.

These acquisitions reflect Kuzco’s commitment to delivering innovative lighting solutions while investing in American manufacturing.

For nearly 30 years, Insight Lighting has offered 20+ families of lighting products for illuminating coves, ceilings, walls, façades, and other architectural details. Known for offering a variety of white and color-changing LED platforms and custom optic designs, Insight Lighting has built a reputation for addressing complex lighting challenges with precision and creativity.

Some of Insight’s notable projects include the newly renovated Orlando International Airport and the newly built state-of-the-art Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. “Insight Lighting’s mission to create unique lighting solutions perfectly aligns with Kuzco Lighting’s dedication to innovation and quality,” said Nathan Yang, President of Kuzco Lighting. “By welcoming Insight Lighting into the Kuzco family, we’re furthering our commitment to manufacturing excellence in the USA while preserving Insight’s legacy as a trusted, family-owned brand. Together, we’ll shape the future of architectural lighting!”

Noted Geoff Patterson, Co-President of Insight, “I am excited about joining forces with Kuzco. It sets the foundation for the next phase in the growth of our company. This move will benefit our employees, specifiers, and agents, building the brand to new heights.”

Added Jaxon Patterson, Co-President of Insight, “Kuzco has made a long-term commitment to our operations here in New Mexico, embracing our American manufacturing strategy.”

With this latest acquisition, Kuzco has expanded its portfolio and strengthened its position as a leader in the lighting industry. By combining Insight Lighting’s expertise in architectural lighting with Kuzco Lighting’s cutting-edge designs and advanced LED technology, the partnership sets a new benchmark for quality, performance, and sustainability. Kuzco Group plans to maintain Insight’s current sales representation.
