US Pole Names Greg Mercier Southeast Regional Sales Vice President

California-based US Pole Company – home of Sun Valley Lighting and US Architectural Lighting brands and a manufacturer of architectural, performance, outdoor luminaires and decorative poles – announced the addition of Greg Mercier as Vice President of its Southeast Regional Sales team.

In this position, Mercier will be responsible for growing the company’s newly created southeast sales region and strengthening its pole expertise.

“We are excited to bring someone with Greg’s extensive experience onboard,” said George Preston, CEO of US Pole. “His background will prove invaluable in helping us to quickly make inroads in a new sales territory.”

Mercier comes to US Pole with more than 20 years of experience in the lighting and pole industry. He formerly served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hapco Pole Products and most recently was the Regional Sales Manager for Utility Metals.

“I am happy to have joined the team,” said Mercier. “US Pole has a great reputation in the market which makes it easier to sell their products.”

Mercier has a BS in Material Science Engineering and is a member of the ANSI C136 outdoor Lighting Group.
