Unique Downlighting Conversion Retrofit Kits from DMF Lighting
DMF Lighting continues to expand its product portfolio with the introduction of 4-inch LED recessed downlighting conversion kits. The kits are designed to upgrade existing round 6-inch downlights to 4-inch fixtures, or uniquely change a 6-inch round aperture to a 4-inch square downlight. The conversion kits are compatible with any standard industry 6-inch recessed downlighting housing having a volume of 60 cubic inches or larger.
The 4-inch Round and Square Conversion Kits are ideal for residential spaces or those 120-volt applications wanting TRIAC/ELV smooth dimming down to 1%, such as hospitality, healthcare and light commercial projects desiring an architectural upgrade.
The Precision Lock Collar, which installs into the existing housing, works with any drywall ceiling thickness and ensures a flush and secure fit.
The retrofit light engine modules are available in Downlight and Adjustable (360-degree rotation and 45-degree tilt) with tool-less field-interchangeable optics, which include 15-, 25-, 40-, 60- and 90-degrees, and Linear Spread and Soft Focus distributions. An Edison Adapter is included in the conversion kit.
Color temperatures include 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and Warm Dim (3000K – 1800K) choices with a 93 color rendering index. Color variation is kept within a 2-step or 3-step MacAdam ellipse, depending on the chosen module, for unparalleled quality and consistency.
Meticulously designed for unmatched performance, the high-quality deep die-cast aluminum trim styles include Standard, Hyperbolic, Pinhole, Wall Wash, and Flangeless choices. Trims are wet painted for a rich, matte finish in a choice of White, Black, Bronze, Clear Diffused, Warm Diffused or custom color (RAL).
Featuring a sustainable design, the downlighting system is compliant with California’s Title-24 JA8, ENERGY STAR®, and Declare Listed. The fixtures are RoHS compliant, wet location listed and NSF Listed and DarkSky Approved to minimize glare, reduce light trespass and to not pollute the night sky.
