nLight Expands DMX Control Capabilities with the Animate Controller for Color and Everyday Lighting

nLight Animate™ Controller

nLight, part of Acuity Brands, has announced the launch of the Animate™ Controller, Powered by Pathway™. A complete solution for both indoor and outdoor spaces with companion software, the Animate Controller allows users to add color, effects, and movement to spaces, while eliminating the need for a separate DMX system.

nLight Animate™ Controller

The Animate Controller seamlessly connects DMX lighting to the nLight networked lighting controls system, enabling practical spaces that address energy usage optimization, code compliance, and occupant comfort, while adding the art of DMX lighting.

With the Pathscape software by Pathway Connectivity Solutions®, users can paint their space with drag and drop configuration and real-time look simulations. Users can set calendar-based scheduling based on multiple conditions to easily accommodate holiday scenes, lighting rhythms, and time-of-day transitions. Additionally, a touchscreen gives users local control. No programming expertise is needed.

“The Animate Controller represents the convergence of dynamic aesthetics and practical controls,” said Daniel Weiss, Acuity Brands Lighting. “It simplifies the integration of RGBx dynamic lighting within the nLight system, empowering customers to transform any space with color, motion, and effects.”
