Inventronics Develops 1800W LED Driver for Sports Lighting

The NES-1K8 series is a high-power, two-in-one LED driver designed for sports lighting applications. The NES-1K8 offers flicker free performance with no afterglow, and has a low ripple current design to meet high-definition live broadcast requirements.

The 1800W, constant-current, non-isolated class I LED driver supports up to 3 channels. The programmable driver operates from 198-457 Vac input with excellent power factor.

The versatile LED driver helps reduce power consumption and maintenance efforts through the use of intelligent dimming functions and bidirectional digital communication. The dimming control supports two-way communication via DALI-2 and complies with D4i, furthermore it incorporates DMX-RDM dimming. When combined with our energy-efficient PrevaLED BRICK HP or HP/HE LED boards, the result is a powerful system solution that provides near-daylight visibility and can even be used as a “lightshow”.

The high efficiency of these drivers and compact IP66-rated metal case enables them to run cooler, significantly improving reliability and extending product life. To ensure trouble free operation, protection is provided against input surge, input under voltage, input over voltage, output over voltage, short circuit, and over temperature.

The NES-1K8 is also well suited for high mast, UV- LED, aquaculture and horticulture applications.
