Franck Genser Presents Cascade, a Collection of Bespoke Alabaster Lighting

Franck Genser's Cascade Collection

Paris-based designer Franck Genser presents Cascade, a collection of bespoke alabaster lighting distinguished by its fluid forms and architectural presence. Drawing inspiration from Japanese gutters and decorative arts, Cascade reimagines the chandelier as a rhythmic stream of light, where alabaster cones descend in sculptural harmony.

The collection features several unique styles, ranging from statement-making chandeliers to more petite pendant arrangements. Each piece is customizable in shape and scale, allowing designers and collectors to tailor Cascade to the proportions and atmosphere of their space.

At the heart of the collection is the large Infinite Cascade chandelier: a poetic composition of alabaster cones suspended in succession, creating the illusion of an endless flow. Its movement and dynamism make it an ideal centerpiece, enlivening the architecture around it with warmth and radiance.

Crafted from alabaster, a material prized for its translucence and natural veining, every Cascade light is unique. The interplay of stone and light transforms each cone into a glowing vessel, balancing elegance with elemental simplicity.

More than lighting, these works function as sculptural statements-bridging art, design, and architecture. With Cascade, Franck Genser continues his pursuit of timeless forms that invite emotion, elevate interiors, and celebrate the union of craftsmanship and poetry.
