Eureka Atoll Expands Geometric Luminaires Options
The Atoll geometric lighting system from Eureka, part of the Acuity Brands Lighting portfolio, now includes square and rectangular formats that complement the original ring family. The fixture’s seamless silicone lens and continuous aluminum extrusion create large illuminated forms that maintain visual consistency across varied interior conditions. The expanded shapes support projects where oversized geometry, coordinated layouts and controlled illumination need to work together without adding complexity to ceilings or walls.
The new options introduce rounded corners and come in 15 large formats ranging from 44 x 44 inches to 120 x 120 inches. Designers can specify pendant or surface‑mount configurations and select from 14 finishes to align with interior palettes. The narrow 2.93‑inch profile keeps the fixture ADA‑compliant when installed on a wall, allowing Atoll to function as both a decorative element and a practical lighting tool in corridors, lobbies and open stairwells.
Atoll’s angled silicone lens produces uniform illumination across the fixture’s perimeter. In addition, pendant versions can include uplight in Lambertian or batwing distribution. The Lambertian option uses the same silicone diffuser as the downlight and supports angled installations or conditions where the fixture may be viewed from above. The batwing distribution provides broad ceiling coverage without dark spots, making it suitable for low‑ceiling environments or areas requiring balanced ambient light.
Acoustic panels expand Atoll’s functional role in active spaces. The felt panel is recyclable and made from 50 percent recycled polyethylene by weight. It provides sound absorption in areas where noise control is needed or where designers want to introduce color and texture without adding separate acoustic treatments.
