DMF Lighting Launches Collection of Decorative Pendants with Shades

DMF Lighting Decorative Pendants with Shades

DMF Lighting has announced the launch of a collection of sleek Decorative Pendants with Shades. The newest additions to the company’s 3-inch aperture X Series and 4-inch aperture M Series cylinder collections include 15 decorative pendants offered in Narrow, Medium and Wide shade distributions and in multiple lengths. Providing the same high-output execution as all the company’s cylinders, the decorative pendants with shades deliver up to 3000 lumens.

Uniquely, the decorative pendants feature embedded drivers within the pendant, allowing for dimming down to 0.1%, while eliminating the need to locate any components above the canopy for easy serviceability with below ceiling access. This is ideal for open ceilings or shallow plenums installations or any application where saving space is a priority. The pendants feature concealed hardware, allowing the high-quality die-cast aluminum shades to seamlessly integrate into the pendant, resulting in a sleek and symmetrical aesthetic.

“Our new small aperture 3-inch and 4-inch pendants add a decorative layer of light to any space with three distinctive shade designs that complement each other, giving designers distinctive solutions for architecturally demanding indoor and outdoor spaces,” said Ken Czech, vice president of new product development, DMF Lighting. “We also included a shadowless uplight option allowing for direct and indirect lighting from a single pendant.”

The collection of 15 pendants includes three shade diameters and multiple lengths. The 3-inch shade diameters are 5.06 inches (Narrow), 7.76 inches (Medium), and 10.21 inches (Wide) and the nominal lengths of the 6 products range from 11 inches to 15 ½ inches. The 4-inch shade diameters are 6.14 inches (Narrow), 9.53 inches (Medium), and 12.51 inches (Wide). The total nominal lengths of the 9 pendants range from 9.5 inches to 20 inches.

As with all DMF products, the modular design features tool-less, field-changeable optics for the ultimate in flexibility and onsite adjustments. The beam spread options include Narrow Spot (20°), Spot (30°), Flood (40°) and Wide Flood (50°) for the X Series 3-inch pendants and Narrow Spot (15°), Spot (25°), Flood (40°), Wide Flood (60°), and General (90°+) for the M Series 4-inch pendants.
