California-based domestic lighting manufacturer Cerno – comprised of the lighting brands Cerno, Revelite, and Siemon & Salazar – has joined Lutron’s Native by Design program as one of its first integrated LED lighting partners.

“Our two companies came together organically through a shared passion for beautiful, high-quality performance lighting — and a mutual belief that the best products come from pushing what’s technically and creatively possible,” explains Bret Englander, co-founder and director of sales & marketing at Cerno. “We are honored by Lutron’s trust in Cerno and [are] fully committed to delivering on that promise.”

Native by Design fixtures are built to work with Lutron’s advanced control systems to ensure a level of performance and ease of specification for its family of intelligent lighting brands: Ketra, Rania, and Lumaris. Last year, Cerno launched the Cerno Art Light with Ketra, which was the brand’s first Native by Design product. Since then, Cerno has been working closely with Lutron to build out the collection. There are currently 12 decorative fixtures – including standard and linear pendants, floor and table lamps, sconces, and art lighting – in the collection, with more planned for release in the coming months.
