DALS Lighting Group Acquires Lumenture

Dals Lumenture 800

Quebec-based DALS Lighting Group, which also has a U.S. office in Florida, has acquired Connecticut-based track and recessed lighting company Lumenture. This is the second acquisition that DALS has made, having acquired Pennsylvania-based portable and fixture lighting company Remington in May 2025. Remington’s area of expertise is in the hospitality sector.

According to a statement released by DALS, Lumenture is known for its clean and modern lighting solutions for commercial and retail environments. Since it was founded in 2016 by James Leahy, Lumenture has established a reputation for track and recessed lighting that balances “leading-edge technology with classic aesthetics.” The acquisition strategically strengthens DALS Lighting Group’s position in the commercial and architectural lighting space.

DALS has been steadily expanding its product categories since it was founded in 2008 to include fixtures for undercabinet and step lighting, outdoor and landscape, a variety of indoor fixtures, and a full line of smart home products.

Like it has with Remington, DALS is keeping the Lumenture brand intact — including Leahy continuing his role as president. Lumenture will continue to operate independently under its existing brand, leadership, and sales infrastructure while benefiting from the resources and support of the broader DALS Lighting Group.

“We admire what the Lumenture team has built,” said Joey Khatri, CEO of DALS Lighting Group. “Their passion for well-designed, technically advanced lighting fits perfectly with our vision. We are excited to partner with James and his team and bring our energy, resources, and experience to support Lumenture’s next chapter.”

According to the acquiring company, the acquisition marks a significant step in the continued growth and evolution of DALS Lighting Group. “These three companies form a

platform of forward-thinking lighting brands with deep product and manufacturing expertise and a shared commitment to design, service, and innovation,” a statement read.
