Parspec Debuts AI-Native Operating System for Rep Agencies

parspec 800

More than 100 rep agencies and 2,400+ reps already rely on Parspec to automate submittals and O&Ms, but with the introduction of its Sales Management tool, agencies will be able to run their entire project operations on the same platform.

Parspec Sales Management is an AI-native quoting and project management platform built specifically for lighting rep agencies. It manages the full lifecycle of a project from RFQ ingestion to project closeout, bringing specification, quoting, crossing, project execution, and reporting into a single system.

The company’s goal is to help rep agencies quote more accurately and faster, increase profits, and make better decisions while strengthening their relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and specifiers. Simultaneously, Sales Management is designed to ensure that the data behind those decisions – pricing strategies, product selections, and customer relationships – remains fully owned and controlled by the agency.

How it’s different

Legacy systems can be difficult to navigate and built on inflexible architectures that are often not able to adapt to evolving project data. They were designed primarily to produce documentation rather than to efficiently structure and manage the underlying data that drives a rep’s business. As a result, reps are forced to work with feature-heavy software, stitching together fragmented features and workflows within them from RFQ through closeout. This leads to a loss of continuity, which can ultimately create more manual work and missed opportunities.

Parspec uses AI to automatically ingest RFQs and extract a structured bill of materials from drawings, schedules, and other formats — eliminating the need for manual BOM entry. By reducing errors and accelerating the quoting process, teams can respond faster.

The benefits

Sales Management can reportedly help reps quickly cross multiple line items with user-defined or AI-recommended alternatives. By combining product attributes, spec requirements, and historical bid context, the system is designed to make it easy to evaluate alternates and quote more of the project — not just the portions already specified. The result is higher win rates on bids and a greater share of every project.

In addition, Parspec integrates directly with manufacturer pricing and ingests various pricing sheets (such as PDFs and Excel files), making up-to-date pricing, adders, and substitutions readily accessible. By eliminating manual lookups and capturing temporary pricing changes, teams can make more informed pricing decisions and potentially avoid missed commission opportunities.

The new platform can increase sales manager productivity by bringing the entire project lifecycle and associated deliverables onto a single platform, eliminating the need to move between systems or re-enter data. A single, line-level bill of materials flows seamlessly from quote through close-out, preserving continuity. As changes occur, teams have clear visibility into BOM updates and change order status, making it easier to manage revisions.

From the beginning, Parspec was developed in close partnership with a group of early rep agencies who helped shape the product around real-world workflows.

That same collaborative approach continues to guide how the company builds Sales Management, ensuring it reflects how reps actually quote and execute projects.

Parspec executives state that 100+ rep agencies and 2,400+ users have already seen meaningful improvements in both speed and accuracy. Agencies report 50–80% faster submittal turnaround times while eliminating errors caused by outdated cut sheets. In addition, 92% of users report higher-quality deliverables, which helps teams present more professional, consistent outputs to customers and partners. Because the system is built around how agencies actually work, it makes it easier to coordinate with the partners involved in every project.

With the new Sales Management platform, Parspec connects reps to manufacturers, distributors, and contractors in a single, seamless workflow designed to help reps leverage their data with confidence without compromising security or control.

Reps’ data stays their own, with pricing, sales, and project data treated as confidential information. That data is fully isolated within the system’s environment and never shared with other customers or third parties. All data is encrypted and stored on U.S.-based servers, with strict access controls ensuring only authorized users from the rep’s organization can access it.

In addition, Parspec is SOC 2 compliant, with SSO support, continuous monitoring, and regular audits to protect against unauthorized access.

Parspec will be inviting a select number of agencies to participate in early access through its Sales Management Steering Committee, which will launch in mid-2026. Those agencies will receive:

● Early access to Sales Management ahead of the broader market

● Direct influence on product workflows, features, and roadmap priorities

● Preferential pricing available only to early participants

The Steering Committee is limited to 10 lighting rep agencies to ensure a high-touch, collaborative experience with Parspec’s product team. Interested agencies are invited to apply here
