Precision Lighting for Audio-visual Conferencing from Coronet

Coronet LS2 AV luminaire

The LS2 AV Series luminaire from Coronet is a versatile, low-glare luminaire system designed for audio-video conferencing. It offers four optional components: regressed, direct distribution linear modules with asymmetric or Lambertian distribution; indirect lighting for suspended models; aimable cylindrical spotlights, and regressed downlights. All lengths and module placements are specifiable.

The four configurable modules of this system – directional spot, linear direct, linear indirect, and downlight – may be mixed and matched to achieve optimized horizontal and vertical illuminance ratios for any conference room. Horizontal illuminance measures light on the table surface. Vertical illuminance measures light on the faces of participants.

Properly balancing this ratio ensures that lighting is optimized for visual comfort, tasks such as note taking, and camera performance. By leveraging the versatility of specifiable module outputs, placement, and distribution, achieving the recommended illuminance ratios is easy. Use any combination of the available modules to achieve your goals. Offering specifiable drivers compatible with virtually all control systems, LS2 AV seemlessly integrates into audiovisual environments.

In AV environments, lighting isn’t just about brightness, it’s about creating the right conditions for clear communication and smooth collaboration. The LS2 AV Series is engineered with precision to address the most common lighting needs in conference rooms:

Balanced Illuminance

Achieving the right balance of vertical and horizontal illuminance is key to creating visually comfortable spaces while maximizing camera performance, resulting in clearer images and a better user experience.

Even Lighting

Ensure participants’ faces are uniformly lit, eliminating harsh shadows for better video.

Glare Control

Minimize eye strain and distractions with glare-free, regressed modules.

With flexible configurations and advanced control options, each LS2 AV luminaire can be customized to suit any space, seamlessly providing key, fill, and task lighting. The result is a glare-free, comfortable environment that enhances in-person and virtual visibility and supports productivity for all participants.
