SESCO Acquires ERT Lighting, Expands Texas Footprint

SESCO 800

Florida-based agency SESCO has acquired ERT Lighting, expanding its footprint into Central and South Texas. The transition will occur officially on July 1 and will combine the existing resources & 480+ employees of SESCO Lighting with the 36 employees & four offices of ERT Lighting.

SESCO President & CEO John Palk noted, “Today marks an exciting day as we bring ERT Lighting into the SESCO family. Over the last several years, I have seen firsthand the focus Jordan and his team have had on growing, learning, and creating a culture of trust. That culture and their roll-up-the-sleeves attitude has helped attract great talent within the market and was a major factor that led to our announcement today. Our focus going forward is to build on what’s already in place and further expand the value and services this team brings to the Central and South Texas markets as well as the great manufacturers that ERT Lighting represents.”

Added Jordan Doyle, principal at ERT Lighting, “The ERT Lighting team is thrilled to be joining the SESCO Lighting team and honored to be the first in expanding their operations in the state of Texas. The entire ERT team has worked meticulously over my tenure to cultivate key specifier, distributor and contractor relationships and this collaborative agreement between two respected agencies offers ERT the horsepower of SESCO’s industry-leading resources to help propel our agency years into the future. I strongly believe in the leadership and vision of John Palk and the SESCO team and am excited at the opportunity to remain as acting Division Leader for this territory long into the future. As we pursue an accelerated growth strategy and additional personnel, we are committed in maintaining continuity with our existing employees, customers and key manufacturers, whether historically aligned with SESCO or not.”
