Austin Ashe Joins Ligman Lighting USA as President, Leading Innovation and Growth

Schréder, a global leader in smart outdoor lighting solutions, proudly announces the appointment of Austin Ashe as President of Ligman Lighting USA. With over 15 years of experience in driving growth within the construction and lighting industries across both private and public sectors, Austin brings a wealth of expertise in hardware and IoT product development, sales and marketing, and M&A.

Before joining Ligman, Austin served as Senior Director of Business Operations at Hyundai, where he played a key role in launching its first commercial offering for the flying taxi business, Supernal. Prior to Hyundai, he led Amazon Web Services’ Industrial AI Solutions division and spent a decade at GE Lighting in leadership roles, including heading the Smart Cities business.

In his new role, Austin will oversee Ligman Lighting USA’s growth strategy, driving product innovation and strengthening relationships with customers and partners.

Steve Mills, Schréder’s President and Regional Director for North America, commented, “Austin’s extensive experience and leadership will be instrumental in continuing the success established by Neil Gilles at Ligman.”
