The beloved Blossom range from Original BTC has expanded beyond the single portable light, and grown with new wall lights and pendants that embody timeless craftsmanship.
Blossom Linear Wall Light
The striking Blossom Linear Wall Light marks a new step in the evolution of bone china lighting. To achieve the perfect, symmetric lines of the shade, our artisans worked through multiple prototypes and perfected the firing process.
Brass screws at the top and bottom affix the shade to the backplate, which holds the dimmable LED light source. The IP44-rated Linear Blossom is a perfect choice next to a wall mirror or above the bathtub, adding warm accent lighting to any space.
Blossom Pendants
Floral inspirations meet fine lines: the Blossom Pendants elegantly enhance rooms, providing functional as well as indirect lighting. Inspired by the Plum blossom, the design of the handmade bone china shade combines poetic details with a clean, sculptural presence.
From its petal-shaped top, it gently tapers out, casting a circle of light below. When switched on, the glossy shade turns translucent, gently glowing in the air. Available in two sizes, the Blossoms pendants are perfect above a kitchen counter, dining table, or entry hall.
The fixture excites with a vivid red braided cotton cable or offers a more subdued look with the grey flex option. The ceiling rose is made from powder-coated metal, which is secured with two brass screws.
Blossom Wall Lights
Let our Blossom Wall Light entice you – and your space – with its charming looks and clever design. This enchanting fixture, designed in-house by Charlie Bowles, will make a beautiful accent on any wall, casting a warm glow.
Blossom’s gently tapered, glossy shade – handmade by our craftspeople in Stoke-on-Trent – sits on a black, powder-coated arm with a G9 light bulb holder. Considered details round off the design: the shade is fixed with a brushed brass screw, and its top echoes the shape of flower petals. The metal base comes in three attractive colours: moody olive green, neutral putty grey, and vivid rusty red provide various degrees of contrast.
These petite wall lights are ideal as bedside lights, next to mirrors, above a fireplace, or lined up in a hallway. Thanks to their IP44 rating, they are also a great option for bathrooms.
Blossom Portable Light
The cordless Blossom Portable Light unites traditional craftsmanship with the latest LED technology. The purposely petite design is inspired by the Plum blossom, with its fluted bone china shade echoing the outlines of the delicate petals, topped by a satin brass detail.
An IP44 rated means it can be used safely outdoors, and with three brightness levels, Blossom offers a range of illumination, keeping your space well-lit from dusk until well into the evening. Easily charged via USB-C, Blossom has a 20-hour run time on the lowest setting.
